Welcome!
I am very happy to be your child's Spanish teacher this year.
Let me tell you a little bit about me. This is going to be my
thirteenth year teaching Spanish and my eighth year at West Covina
High School. I am from Los Angeles, California. I learned to
speak Spanish at home with my mom and her parents. I graduated
with my bachelor's degree in Spanish from Cal State Los Angeles in
1992, and I received my master's degree in education from the
University of Laverne in 1998. I love to challenge my self by
learning new things, especially new languages. I enjoy reading
about different cultures, animals and just about anything else( Right
now I am exploring Shibori, it's neat).
I believe that learning is a life long adventure and it is my
sincere hope to learn with my students. I believe in all
of my students, and in their desire to do well in school. I believe
that children will rise to my expectations, and I know that my
students will accomplish great things. |
