1st Semester Project  Assignments

Project #1   Safety Instruction and Test

Project #2   Ruler Reading and Measurements.  (Tested)

Project #3   Planning Projects:  Multi-view drawings and     one point perspective. Calculations of Perimeters, Area, and Cost of material.  (Tested)

Project #4   Beg.: Wood Holder for Leather Tools. Adv.:Jewelry Box 

Project #5   Beg.:  Construction of Leather Tools out of 20d nails.  Adv.:   Screwdriver

Project #6   Leather Project:   Beg.:  Coaster, coin pouch, and bookmarker.  Adv.:  Large figure carved pouch.

Semester Final 

Required projects are designed that student who stay on task, will have ample time to create many of their own projects

 


CRAFTS

2nd Semester Project  Assignments

Review Safety Procedures

Ruler Review and Test

Project #1   Metal Tooling:  Create a design onto a thin metal foil.

Project #2   Casting:  Using the Metal Tooling Design, cast a plaster mold of that design, then finish and paint.

Calculation Review and Test on Area, Volume, Perimeter, and Cost of Materials

Project #3   Plastic:  Beg.:  Cut, Bend, and Laminate a Picture Frame and a small box.  Adv.:  Cut, Bend, Laminate, and CNC a computer picture on a large box.

Project #4  Home Improvement Project:   Construct or repair something at home to improve the looks where they live.  When complete, write a report on the project, including:  Title Page, Drawing, Procedure Plans, Tools Used, Cost of Materials, Time Spent, Summary Page, and Verification Signature, by the Parents.
